The YWCA is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. This support group exists to provide support and information for women who are raising biracial children.

Mother or female guardian raising children who are biracial and need support dealing with identity development, child rearing, racism, discrimination, and any other issues unique to caregivers with multiracial children.
To be determined by the group in January. May include:
- “Is she/he adopted?” and “Who are you babysitting for?” – How to avoid explaining yourself.
- Identity Development – Are you avoiding this or are you going overboard? How much is enough?
- How diverse is your neighborhood/school/church?
- Book discussion – Does anybody else look like me?
- Writing your will – Who will raise the children if you are unable?
- Dealing with racist family members
- Hair care for everyone
