What types of tasks do you perform for this group?
We help with the annual fundraising style show. We secure and oversee the models, coordinate the clothing and participate as one of the boutiques providing new trends and styles of the season.
How many hours a week on average do you spend volunteering?
Whatever it takes!

Why did you choose this particular project or what drew you to volunteer for this organization?
The Sojourners Shelter answers a need for women, children, and families who need a hand up. We feel it's a privilege to help in any way we can.
What benefits do you get from volunteering with this organization?
The satisfaction of knowing we've helped even a little bit.
What is your favorite part of living in the neighborhood?
Ooh La Lucy has been located on Bridge Road for a year-and-a-half. We chose this location because of the friendly economic neighborhood, and we enjoy our neighbors and customers.
Who are the members of your family? Are they involved in the charity, as well?
Even though Ooh La Lucy is wholly owned by Mikayla Dent, Kathy; her mother has the privilege of working closely with her.
