Race to End Racism 2019

The 3rd annual YWCA Race to End Racism, presented by TransCanada Corporation, was a 5K Run/1 Mile Walk on Charleston’s West Side on Saturday, April 27, 2019.

It was our biggest year yet, with more than 900 individuals registered to participate and take a stand against racism! Miss West Virginia and Miss West Virginia State University graced us with their their presence. 48 teams participated. The Xinos performed. It was a beautiful, joyful day and we couldn't have done it without our amazing Racial Justice Committee, generous sponsors, and participants - so THANK YOU!

Please save the date for next year's race: April 25, 2020!
